I have created this collage on my studio wall, using colours I have chosen from a digital painting. I have simplified it into two square blocks of colour. I have then collaged in the corner, one against one wall and the other against another, joining at the corner. This collage is very minimalistic. It focuses on the two colours and using the sheet of colour as the square shape itself. I then also selected a silver reflective sheet of card and placed it over the top part of the pink sheet. This reflects the blue into the pink sheet when looking at it from different angles. Artists that I think relate to this specific piece of art are Rana Begum and Daniel Buren. Begum thinks about how the audience will view her art, which is what I have done while creating this collage. Buren uses reflective materials in his artwork and thinks about colour and light.
