•This exhibition ‘Expressions in Paint’ included a collaboration of Peter Wolland and George Browell’s paintings. It was exhibited at Spectrum Cultural Club Gallery. The paintings are of landscapes and abstractions. There were a number of large scale paintings and some smaller alongside them. Most of the paintings were expressive and showed brush marks and detail when looking closely. Peter Wolland’s paintings were very expressive and used thick oil paints. While George Browell used oil paints on his large scale paintings, but also included some delicate smaller watercolours. The two artists both included landscapes that had meaning to them. Their painting styles worked well together despite using different techniques.
