Painting in the expanded field - Theory and Context

I have created paintings with ideas that link to painting in the expanded field. In my practice I have questioned and investigated what paint can do, I have created paintings by squeezing paint out of the tube onto glass and other materials, the idea that the paint could be the painting/sculpture itself without a need to paint onto a support. Researching into this has helped me widen my ideas and think of possibilities for my painting.
